Shing Nie embarked on her legal journey with a solid foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Law from the University of Liverpool in 2014, marking the beginning of a promising career in law. In recognition of her dedication and competence, she was called to the Bar in November 2016.
Shing Nie’s legal acumen took shape during her chambering days with a reputable firm in Johor Bahru. Her focus during this period was primarily on conveyancing, where she actively participated in a variety of developer projects and housing loan security documentations. Additionally, she honed her skills in legal research, delving into diverse areas of law such as land law, bankruptcy, and negligence claims.
Upon completing her chambering, Shing Nie joined a distinguished legal firm, specializing in banking and insolvency litigation. Her role as a legal assistant involved advising and representing various banking institutions, local companies, and multinational corporations in complex disputes. She navigated intricacies related to insolvency, land law, and the recovery of both conventional and Islamic banking facilities. Her expertise extended to enforcement of court judgments and execution proceedings, including garnishee proceedings, writ of seizure and sales, bankruptcy proceedings, and judgment debtor summons.
In addition to her stellar work in banking and insolvency litigation, Shing Nie has expanded her portfolio to encompass matrimonial, succession, and estate administration matters. This diverse range of expertise further enhances the comprehensive legal services offered by our firm.

2. Lim Jing Neng

Jing Neng obtained his Bachelor of Law from the University of Aberystwyth in 2012 and was called to the Bar in 2020.
He began his legal career as a conveyancing staff member, preparing sale and purchase agreements for developer projects and handling housing loan security documentation. He then joined a leading trust corporation in Malaysia as a legal executive, working on wills and trust matters, which broadened his knowledge in estate planning and further diversified his legal experience.
In 2019, Jing Neng commenced his chambering with a reputable and long-established firm, marking his formal entry into active legal practice. During this period, he worked with both the precedent partner and senior partner of the firm on banking security documentation matters for banks, commercial borrowers, and corporate loans to multinational corporations and listed public companies, coordinating with counsels from international law firms as required.
Commencing from his chambering days, Jing Neng has been working closely alongside the precedent partner and senior members of the firm. This collaborative experience has allowed him to gain valuable insights and mentorship from experienced legal practitioners, enhancing his professional growth.
He has also gained exposure to conveyancing and property transactions, including tenancies of shopping malls and other industrial and commercial properties, as well as the sale and purchase of such properties. He gained exposure to acquisition and takeover transactions for public and private companies under the guidance of the precedent partner.
In addition, he handles probate and estate administration, enabling him to provide clients with comprehensive legal support.
During his chambering, he also assisted in a prolonged litigation matter for a developer client, gaining valuable insight into dispute resolution processes.
Jing Neng’s diverse experience across real estate, banking and finance, trust matters, and other areas of law enables him to support clients in a broad range of legal matters.
